MATT D. OBER, ESQ., CCAL is a partner of Richardson Ober LLP where his practice is dedicated to the exclusive representation of community associations throughout California. Matt has served as counsel to community associations for nearly three decades and has made significant contributions to the Community Association industry through both CAI and CACM. He is a member of CAI’s National Faculty, a CACM faculty member, a Fellow of CCAL, a Delegate Emeritus to CLAC, and he currently serves on CAI National’s Government and Public Affairs Committee. He is also a member of CAI National’s Business Partners Council and is a Member of CAI National’s Board of Trustees. Matt is a co-author of CAI’s California Law Course for Community Association Managers and CAI’s Board Education Course and CAI National’s L-100 course “Essentials of Community Association Law.” In addition, Matt has earned the Martindale-Hubbell “AV” peer review rating signifying the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards, and was selected to Super Lawyers for years 2020 through 2024.
